Anjeka-5141 is a highly effective silicone defoamer for solvent-borne, low to high polarity coating systems and printing inks. It is very compatible and can be added later.
Chemical composition: Solution of a blend of foam-breaking polymers and polysiloxanes.
The data given on this data sheet are typical values and are not technical specifications of the product.
Layering and turbidity may occur at temperatures below 5 °C. Heat to 20 °C and mix thoroughly before use.
Storage time is not recommended to exceed 12 months.
The full effect of the defoamer can only be obtained after 24 hours in the system.
Industrial Coatings
Anjeka-5141 prevents the formation of foam and bubbles during production and use. It has excellent compatibility.
Can be used for general industrial coatings, paper coatings, floor coatings and curtain-drip wood coatings. Suitable for oil-free polyesters, vinyls oil-free polyesters, vinyls, polyurethanes, epoxies, acid cellulose and acid curing bodies.
0.1-1.0% Additives (purchased form) based on total formulation.
The above data are empirical and the optimum amount should be determined through a series of tests.
For optimum performance, defoamers should be added to the grinding media prior to grinding. If added at a later stage, the shear force must be high enough to ensure good dispersion of the defoamer to prevent shrinkage.
