Polymeric Dispersant dispersing pigments in low-polarity solvent-based coatings and printing inks
A polymeric dispersant for dispersing pigments in low-polarity coatings.
The data provided in this datasheet are typical values and are not product specifications.
Stir well before use. Stratification or cloudiness may occur below 0°C. Heat to 30°C-40°C and mix evenly.
Helps improve gloss, color intensity, and anti-flocculation properties of organic pigments, reducing haze caused by uneven dispersion. Particularly effective in dispersing high-surface-area carbon black, enhancing the blackness of coatings. This product also helps shorten grinding time, increase production efficiency, and improve the storage stability of coatings.
This additive is recommended for dispersing pigments in low-polarity solvent-based coatings and in printing inks, especially for stabilizing organic pigments like carbon black. This product is compatible with many resins used in coatings, such as polyester, polyurethane, and acrylic resin systems.
Additive dosage (as supplied) based on pigment:
The above data are empirical dosages. The optimal dosage should be determined through a series of tests.
For optimal performance, the additive should be added to the grinding base before the pigment is introduced.
