Anjeka 6104S is a solution of an unsaturated polycarboxylic acid polymer and polysiloxane copolymer suitable for medium to high polarity systems.

Storage and transport

Please stir well before use, if the temperature is lower than 0℃, the oil may be stratified or muddy, heat to 30℃-60℃ and stir well.
Storage time is not recommended to exceed 12 months.

Special notes
These products have limited compatibility with petroleum solvents or systems diluted with petroleum solvents.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES
 

Wetting and Dispersing Enhancement: This additive serves as a wetting and dispersing agent, optimizing the wetting of pigments and maintaining stable dispersion through controlled flocculation. By inducing controlled flocculation in both pigments and bulk pigment systems, it effectively prevents color floatation, blooming, and undesirable hard settling.

Versatility in Polarity Systems: Ideal for application in medium to high polarity systems, it stands out for its exceptional efficacy in preventing color floatation, particularly in scenarios where titanium dioxide is combined with other colored pigments.

Compatibility in Various Coating Types: Its versatility extends to use in amine-neutral and aqueous coatings, showcasing adaptability across different coating formulations.

Immiscibility with Petrol Solvent: This additive is immiscible with the solvent petrol, ensuring stability and performance in formulations where petrol is a component.

Enhanced Protective Properties: When incorporated into antirust primers, Anjeka 6104S contributes to the improvement of protective properties, enhancing the overall durability and effectiveness of the coating.

Polysiloxane Copolymer Inclusion: Anjeka 6104S incorporates a small amount of polysiloxane copolymer, further amplifying its effectiveness in preventing color float. The inclusion of silicones also plays a role in preventing Bernard swirls and streaks, while simultaneously improving surface slip, leveling, and the orientation of matting agents or aluminum powders. This multifunctional aspect often eliminates the necessity for additional silicone additives.

APPLICATION SECTORS
Recommended for coating systems: solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings as well as printing inks. Recommended applications: industrial coatings, architectural coatings, anticorrosive coatings, automotive coatings, etc.
 

RECOMMENDED LEVELS
The amount of additives (in purchased form) is based on the pigment:
Titanium dioxide: 0.5%-2.5%
Inorganic pigments: 3%-10
Organic pigments: 10%-20%.
The above figures are empirical and the optimum dosage should be determined by a series of tests.

PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS
For best performance, add the additives to the milling compound before adding the pigments.
