GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Anjeka-7410 is a silicone leveling agent with defoaming properties. It slightly reduces the surface tension of coatings, thus improving flow and leveling and exhibiting partial defoaming properties and preventing the formation of Bernard swirls.

STORAGE and TRANSPORT

Store the product in a cool and ventilated place, keep the container tightly closed and away from heat and ignition sources. Store the product between 0°C and 40°C. Containers should not be exposed to direct heat radiation.

Storage time is not recommended to exceed 12 months.

SPECIAL NOTES

This additive has good compatibility. However, it should be tested for stability in certain systems before use. Similarly, recoatability and shrinkage should be checked.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Characteristics and Advantages:

Anjeak-7410 is a silicone leveling additive that also has an antifoaming effect (depending on the polarity of the coating system). Anjeak-7410 is heat resistant at baking temperatures up to 250°C (480F) and does not reduce interlayer adhesion during recoatings. Increases surface slip, improves scratch and abrasion resistance, prevents the formation of Bernard swirls and improves the orientation of aluminum powders and matting agents. It does not cause increased gloss, even when used in difficult-to-matte high-solids polyurethanes, acid-cured and unsaturated polyester coatings. With shower coating systems, Anjeka-7410 stabilizes the curtain.

APPLICATION SECTORS

Anjeka-7410 is suitable for solvent-borne coating systems.

RECOMMENDED LEVELS

The dosage is 0.1-0.5% of the total amount of the coating system.

The above data is an empirical dosage, and the optimum dosage should be determined through a series of tests.
