GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Anjeka-5066N is a silicone defoamer for solvent-borne and solvent-free systems.

STORAGE and TRANSPORT

Layering and turbidity may occur at temperatures below 5 °C. Heat to 20 °C and mix thoroughly before use.

Storage is not recommended for more than 12 months.

 

SPECIAL NOTES

The full effect of the defoamer can only be obtained after 24 hours in the system.

Industrial Coatings

Features and Benefits:

Anjeka-5066N is a highly effective defoamer that provides optimum defoaming with a minimum of incompatibilities. It can be used in all solvent based systems. It provides a good balance between defoaming properties and compatibility.

 

APPLICATION SECTORS

Solvent-borne coatings and UV systems.

 

RECOMMENDED LEVELS

0.1-0.7% Additives (in purchased form) are based on the total formulation.

The above data are empirical and the optimum dosage should be determined through a series of tests.

 

INCORPORATION AND PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS

For optimum performance, the defoamer should be added to the grinding media prior to grinding. If added at a later stage, the shear force must be high enough to ensure good dispersion of the defoamer to prevent shrinkage.
