GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Anjeka-6070 is a polymeric wetting and dispersing additive specifically designed for aqueous coatings, printing inks, and adhesives. It serves as a standard additive for formulating resin-free pigment concentrates and offers broad compatibility with inorganic pigments, organic pigments, and carbon black, making it a versatile general-purpose polymeric dispersant.

STORAGE & HANDLING

This additive achieves pigment deflocculation through steric stabilization. The resulting fine pigment particle size contributes to high gloss, enhanced color strength, improved transparency of transparent pigments, and increased hiding power of opaque pigments. It also reduces system viscosity, improving flow properties and allowing for higher pigment loading.
It is particularly effective for producing stable, resin-free pigment concentrates with a pigment content of 30-60%. These concentrates are compatible with standard aqueous bases such as acrylic dispersions, water-soluble acrylic resins, and acrylic emulsions for tinting.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE
Dosage (as supplied) based on pigment weight:

Titanium Dioxide & Inorganic Pigments: 4% - 10%

Organic Pigments: 30% - 90%

Carbon Black: 50% - 140%
Note: These are empirical starting points. The optimum dosage must be determined through practical testing.

INCORPORATION & PROCESSING
The grinding process can be conducted in water or a water/co-solvent blend. First, mix the additive with the aqueous phase. Add pigments only after the additive is fully dispersed.
